Black Oxide” or “E-Coating”?

Black Oxide” or “E-Coating”? We keep hearing the wrong name.

In RFQs, customers often say: “We need black oxide.”But once we check the material and function, what they actually want is E-Coating.

Same color. Very different processes.

Black Oxide is chemical conversion (mostly steel) and E-Coating is deposited coating (steel, aluminum, complex parts)

Most people aren't asking for a process. They're asking for a result:
- black appearance
- corrosion resistance
- minimal tolerance impact
- reasonable cost
